Mrs. Melissa Auestad
Ms. Melissa has been a part of teaching young minds for 20 years here at Cornerstone Baptist Academy and our formerly known Cathedral Baptist School. Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Mrs. Gracie Hastings
Ms. Gracie has been teaching our little ones for 6 years here at Cornerstone Baptist Academy and our formerly named Cathedral Baptist School. She has an Associates of Science Degree. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalms 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: For thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.
Mrs. Patty Christofano
Mrs. C has been in the education field for 19 years, and 17 of those years have been at Cornerstone Baptist Academy formerly named Cathedral Baptist School. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Mrs. Brenda Buerkle
Ms. Brenda has spent the last 4 years teaching at Cornerstone Baptist Academy, formerly named Cathedral Baptist School. Her favorite Bible verse is Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Mrs. Joy Greco
A seasoned educator with 32 years of experience, Ms. Joy has dedicated the last 8 years to teaching at Cornerstone Baptist Academy and the formerly named Cathedral Baptist School. With a degree in Elementary Education and Bible from Maranatha Baptist Bible College, she is passionate about her work, and her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 34:1 I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Mrs. Cindy Volkert
With over 25 years of experience in education, Ms. Cindy has dedicated her skills to Cornerstone Baptist Academy and its predecessor, Cathedral Baptist School, for the past 4 years. Her areas of expertise include Elementary Education and Music, with Bachelors degrees in both fields. Her favorite Bible verse is 2 Corinthians 12: 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Mrs. Julie Buerkle
Ms. Julie brings a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing to her role as and educator at Cornerstone Baptist Academy, where she has taught for 2 and a half years, including her time at the school's previous name, Cathedral Baptist School. Her favorite Bible verse is
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distress for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
